A look on the positive side.

Oh it's a beautiful day.Today I heard the birds sing in the morning and I knew it was indeed a beautiful day.

Not necessarily that birds had stopped singing.I had just not heard them.

A lot of noises had engulfed and taken over my head.

Look here friends.I will not try to sound stronger than the rest.

A lot has happened in the past few months since the discovery of the Coronavirus disease of 2019 in Wuhan province of China.

Many people have been infected and affected.A lot others have lost their lives to the disease.

Since the first discovery of this disease the world has been bombarded with sad, hard and terrifying news.We have been literally turned into virtual information prisoners.

All negative news has been dumped on our helpless selves.

All of us have been afraid at some point, and we are probably still very afraid to this moment.

A lot of terrifying news about the world has been and is still being broadcast.

Negativity has taken over and we are literally being controlled by fear.

The world has been turned into one large prison in which every inmate is remotely controlled by unknown forces, primarily using fear as a control tool.

Who had ever thought that we could design and build our own prisons using our own resources?

Our once loved comfortable homes have turned into prison cells.

Our natural beauty which we have at some point used so pride ourselves in has vanished overnight.

Yes our beauty has gone. Our mouths and noses have joined the list of 'private body parts'.

Is it a smile that used to set you apart from the rest?

Is it your raised nose that used to make you think that you were better than the other races and species with the not-so-sharp or pink noses?

Yes today because of the Coronavirus the world has been duly equalized.

Ok let me give an example from closer to where I am.

A millionaire who lives where I am right now had recently purchased two multi-million rand Porsche vehicles, one for his wife and one for himself. They were all delivered on the same day.

But today he cannot enjoy the ride for the twin reasons that during this lockdown he was struck by an illness that have restricted him to a wheel chair.Even if the lockdown was to be lifted today he wouldn't be able to drive and enjoy this 3.5 million rand monster.

Many had purchased first class air tickets for a dream holiday at island resort , while some had finished polishing their private jets and yachts for vacation.

All this is now impossible.Everyone is restricted to their own custom built prison.

This is how life has changed and never to be the same again.

I have heard tales of citizens of one city in a rich European country who, in the middle of the coronavirus went out on the streets and dumped large bunches of cash in desperation.

They had come to the hard realisation that cash or any other worldly riches can not save a life.

We have watched as some countries with the most sophisticated healthcare systems all but surrendering to fate.

I heard a tale of one billionaire, also from a rich European country, who committed suicide by throwing himself down from the top of his own office tower in desperation.

This, it is said, was because he had allegedly lost all of his close family to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The human race, like never before, has realised the folly of life and uselessness worldly material wealth.

No religion had, prior to this, managed to convince the human race that the most important thing on this earth is YOU.

The woman or man who lives inside you is more important than all outside happenings.

Now we have had and heard enough of hard, bad and negative news of the world.

We have focused more on the world outside and looked less inside. We looked less on ourself.

We worried more about the outside world than on our inner selves.

We have directed more attention to and tried hard to fix the world out there at the expense of mending our inner selves.

Now, as never before, I announce a reason to celebrate the Covid19 induced lockdown.

For the first time I am asking you my dear reader to turn your attention from the wild world out there and focus on your inner silent yet turbulent and restless self.

They say adversity and opportunity are two sides of the same coin.

At this moment I am asking you to flip the coin and look on the other side of the coin.

I don't care whether you are rich or poor by whatever measure.I don't care what race, color or religion you are.

What I know is that Covid-19 has equalized the world citizens.

Covid-19 Lockdown has presented us with a true opportunity for self discovery.

It's a chance to look deeply into our inner being and raise our self consciousness.

It is a chance for world citizens to disconnect from the toxic world and reconnect with our inner self.

What really is your purpose on this earth?

Isn't it true that we have focused more on trying to change the outside world, while neglecting our inner self?

It's a time to focus on and evaluate our relationships with God and humanity ( our close families and other citizens of the world ).

For starters this disease has shown us that we are all vulnerable and entirely insecure. There are certain aspects of our lives that we have no control over.

I have learnt that sometimes the only thing that I can control is my emotional being.

I can choose to let my emotions run wild and be consumed by it in the process, or I can choose to be in control of my emotions and prevent a devastating and irreparable emotional breakdown.

We have all been victims of fear at some point in our lives. But the most important thing is that we should manage our fears, especially of those things we have no control over, and concentrate on our inner strengths. We can control our attitude towards world events.

This focus on our inner strengths becomes the fuel that we need to drive us forward even against the tide.

Did you know that you are more beautiful on the inside than on the outside?

Now that your beautiful face won't be visible to the outside world because of the face mask, why not let your inner beauty shine and radiate?

Your inner beauty will be visible through acts of love towards one another.

There are and is going to be more needy people around you from this moment going into the near future. The world needs new heroes now more than ever, and the hero is you.

It's your time to do something remarkable.

You can't give a smile anymore. The mask has stolen your smile but you can still give a hand.

Our inner strength is being tested at this moment.

The world is in a transition.A new breed of heroes is being born.We don't celebrate war heroes anymore but everyone is challenged to become a love hero.

Covid-19 has brought back and revived the sense of humanity.

Every hand that is stretched out at this moment is looking for a hero to help and rescue.

And the hero lives inside of you.

So the world is challenged to let this new breed of heroes out.Its your time to shine.

This is an opportunity to shine and celebrate.

True heroes are those who thrive and triumph through difficult situations. The world needs that hero inside of you.Let the hero out now and celebrate.
